Whitney Chadwick, renowned art historian, discusses the art of Leonor Fini in a walking tour of the exhibition Réalisme irréel at Weinstein Gallery in San Francisco. Whitney Chadwick is an art historian who writes on Surrealism and Contemporary Art. She is the author of Women, Art, and Society, Women Artists and the Surrealist Movement, and Mirror Mirror: Self Portraits by Women Artists, as well as her most recent, Farewell to the Muse: Love, War and the Women of Surrealism. Her writings also include an art-historical crime novel, entitled Framed, which earned mainstream critical acclaim. She received her PhD from Pennsylvania State University.
